30 Prizes in 30 Days WINNER

The Pirates are giving away 30 prizes throughout a span of 30 days to season ticket holders that have paid in full.

I got a call from Adam Vizzini, my season ticket representative the other day.  He was calling to let me know that I had won one of those prizes.

I was hoping to win a trip somewhere.  The Pirates had trips to Florida (Spring Training), Chicago, and Anaheim among the thirty prizes.  There was also other amazing things such as winning a pool table, $500 in gift cards, two round trip airfare tickets, and so on and so forth.

So, what did I win?

That’s right.  I get to have lunch with the Pirates broadcasters.

Its not exactly the most glamorous prize.  I could’ve gotten stuck with a Pirate Parrot appearance, a game used baseball signed by the Pirates starting pitcher, a meet and greet with a Skyblast band, or Kids Take the Field (all spots).  I would consider those worse than what I won.

I’m not sure when I’ll get to have this lunch, as I work until 3PM everyday during the week, but it should happen sometime this summer.

Good luck to the other season holders that are also in this drawing.

Congrats Erik. Thats pretty awesome that the pirates do that, even if they suck. I cant wait for college when i can have season tix to a team thats not in new york, who do things like this for the fans. Cant wait for 2010.

Joe,
Any idea where you’d go to college? Probably the best area would be somewhere in the DC/Baltimore area. You’d always have a game to go to.

Kristy,
Good luck winning one of those prizes. They saved the best prizes for the last week or so.

University of Maryland is my idea of choice for east coast colleges, when time comes. its perfect, just 8 miles from nats park and about 20 from camden.

Joe,
Nice choice for your east coast school. You’ll really rack up big numbers in April/May/September in that area. You’ll just have to make sure you schedule all of your classes for the mornings so you can have afternoons free.
